So far, so good. My goal for 2022 was to write more and I’ve done that. I’m writing a lot more than I wrote probably last year total. It feels good to be writing again.
Since January 1, I’ve written over 10,000 words, which is more words than I wrote in the later half of 2021. I wasn’t feeling the writing in 2021 and dug my feet in. I’m currently at just over 40,000 words or half way through my story. This is the part of a novel where the action starts to sag. Not in my novel. One of the characters surprised me by what she did and said. Now I have more fodder for my story. As much as I want to tell you what has happened in the story, I don’t want to spoil it.
