My book, Second Chance at Happiness is coming along fine. I am almost done with the edits. I was expecting a fifth edit and wondered where the book was since the editor hadn’t contacted me in over a month.
I received the fifth set of edits two days ago. Yesterday, I opened the email and read that the editor wanted me to expand one of the main character’s relationship with his family. I’m thinking this may be that I need to add another chapter. I hope not. I’m hoping I can just squeeze in a scene or two and call it good. I’m getting tired of reading this book. LOL.
I believe I wrote the first draft of this book in 2017 after writing a romance novella, my first foray into romance writing, in 2016. So this book was my first attempt at writing a romance novel. Wow! The book has come a long way. I’m looking forward to when it is published so I can get on with other writing projects.
